Cluain Mhuire Community Mental Health Services

Cluain Mhuire Service is a national centre of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult Psychiatric service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 185,000 people approximately. It aspires to provide best outcomes for those presenting with mental disorders and has pioneered, piloted and mainstreamed Ireland's first early intervention in psychosis programme ( www.detect.ie ) as well as developing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy for those with Borderline Personality Disorders.

The service is vibrant with many innovative clinical initiatives and provides excellent training and research opportunities. The area has easy access to the many amenities of Dublin City Centre and Dun Laoghaire plus a variety of excellent local facilities.

COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSES

(Full-time Permanent Contract)

Applicants are invited to apply for the position of Community Mental Health Nurses for a Full-time Permanent Contract. The successful candidates will work in the Home Based Services delivering assessments and providing care/treatment for persons presenting with a variety of mental health difficulties.

The successful candidate will be a Psychiatric Nurse with demonstrable evidence of decision making skills and supervisory skills together with demonstrable evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team framework.
