Walk-in booster clinics have been arranged for healthcare workers at participating vaccination centres on specific days and times. Click here to find a COVID-19 vaccination centre or walk-in clinic.
- You need to wait at least 5 months after your second vaccine dose before you can get a booster. If you had the single-dose Janssen vaccine, you need to wait at least 3 months.
- If you had COVID-19 since you were vaccinated, you should get your booster dose at least 6 months after your positive test result.
You will need to bring photo ID and proof of your employment.
What vaccine is available?
If you are 30 years or older you will be offered a single dose of an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer BioNTech or Moderna) vaccine. If you are 29 years or younger you will be offered a single dose of Pfizer BioNTech vaccine. You can get these vaccines even if you got a different type vaccine for your primary course (AstraZeneca, Janssen, Pfizer or Moderna).
Scheduled appointments
Scheduled appointments for booster doses are also continuing. If you receive a text with an appointment for your booster dose, please attend for it or use the instructions in the text to change it.
