Dear Colleagues,
The PNA have for some time been in negotiations with the HSE and the DOH in relation to the inclusion of specific allowances on the HSE Consolidated Pay scales. These include the payments to Authorised Officers and members of Assisted Admissions teams.
I am glad to report that these payments are now included in those Pay scales and will be subject to any national increases that may be awarded going forward. Recent increases have been included since October 2021 as part of the agreement but retrospective payments before June 1st will not be awarded. It is very positive to have these rates included on the Consolidated pay scales as this has been advocated by the PNA for many years.
The rates that apply with effect from 1st June 2024 are:
