As you will be aware the €35m of funding ring fenced for the development and enhancement of 24/7 community based mental health services in line with A Vision for Change is under threat, with the Dept. of Heath wanting to divert €12m to other areas of the health service.
A petition has been started to prevent this, so we would ask that you firstly sign the petition yourself as a individual and forward the petition to others via email or on facebook and ask them to do the same so it gets to as many as possible.
As the saying goes, “its better to light a singe candle than to do nothing but curse the dark.”
